A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello! I love programming. web development. constitutional law. learning new things. Python and Java.
I live in Tennessee, but I'm from Chicago.
I'm always looking for projects to work on or new opportunities to add to my resume.

INTERESTS

Web Development

I love making web sites! I can do both front end and back end web development, but if I had to choose, I'd choose back-end – or possibly full stack if that's an option!

Programming

I love web development, but I also love programming in general. I'm still interested in other fields: software, mobile, etc.!

Constantly Learning

I'm lucky to be in a field where this is a real possibility! What's better than the rush of joy from learning and understanding something new?

Constitutional Law

I love studying constitutional law! If you ask me about a case I've studied, then you've made a mistake because I won't shut up until you're just as excited as I am.

WORK HISTORY

2016

Co-op

ADTRAN Huntsville, AL

Essentially back on my last team, I once again worked on the UI for our next generation network management platform using Angular and JavaScript! This term I got more exposure to other projects and components, and I even got to work a little with some Python! Overall, I felt like a normal, full-time member of the team.

2015

Co-op

ADTRAN Huntsville, AL

I worked on a variety of things this term! My work ranged from developing a plugin in Wordpress using PHP and JavaScript, to working on cross browser compatibility, developing a fully functional PSI planning web app using Django and Angular, and working on the UI for a next generation network management platform.

2015

Co-op

ADTRAN Huntsville, AL

I developed features for one of ADTRAN’s internal sites using Python, Bottle, and MongoDB for the back end and HTML, CSS, LESS, and JavaScript (+ jQuery and other libraries) for the front end. This term was so much fun because I learned A LOT about web development, Python, testing, etc., and everything I worked on was useful – no throwaway code!

2015

Intern

Putnam County Sheriff's Office Cookeville, TN

I developed a website for Putnam County’s Sheriff’s Office that would allow them to effectively and efficiently 1) communicate with the public and 2) share information with the community. This was my first time using Wordpress, and I also provided a custom design for the website.
